Nine Inch Nails

Nine Inch Nails is an American industrial metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. It was formed in 1988 by Trent Reznor, the main producer, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, who is the only official member of Nine Inch Nails and remained solely responsible for its direction until English musician Atticus Ross joined the band in 2016. Mainly industrial metal, Nine Inch Nails' music is an eclectic blend of genres such as alternative rock, ambient, electronica and synthpop. After recording an album, Reznor usually recruits a group of musicians to play with him. The line-up changes with each new tour, and songs are often reworked to suit a live performance.
